Telescope types we supply
- Refractors — lens telescopes, typically 50–90 mm aperture, low maintenance and easy for beginners; travel and kids versions.
- Newtonian reflectors — mirror telescopes, typically 76–150 mm aperture; more aperture for the money, occasional collimation needed.
- Tabletop Dobsonians — short reflectors on a simple rocker base; very quick to set up.
- Kids and educational telescopes — simple refractors and kits for school and museum programs; children’s product rules apply.
For large-aperture astronomy binoculars see binoculars; for daytime nature viewing, spotting scopes.
Mounts and tripods
Alt-azimuth mounts move up-down and left-right — intuitive for beginners; slow-motion controls help follow objects. Equatorial mounts align with Earth’s axis to track stars with one motion, but need setup and learning. Tripod material and height, accessory tray and a smartphone adapter are specified per kit. Sturdiness matters more than magnification for a good first experience.
Safety and documentation
Solar safety: never point a telescope, finder, binocular or eyepiece at the Sun without a certified solar filter covering the front aperture completely. Viewing the Sun without one can cause instant, permanent eye damage. This warning goes into every manual and box we supply.
We do not supply eyepiece-mounted solar filters. Where a brand wants to sell solar viewing products, the applicable standard (for example ISO 12312-2 for direct solar viewers) is confirmed by the buyer with an accredited laboratory per SKU. Telescopes marketed to children follow children’s product rules (see kids binoculars for the process). No certifications are claimed — see the export compliance process.

No certifications, ratings or test data claimed. We describe what each product is, how it works and how it can be customized. We do not display certification marks, publish optical test data, factory capacity or customer cases on this site; optical figures are stated per model on its specification sheet. Test reports and certification documentation can be provided or arranged per order for the buyer’s market, as the brand owner requires. Regulated items: laser rangefinders (laser classification and labeling, e.g. FDA/CDRH laser notice in the US, IEC 60825-1), digital night vision binoculars (IR illuminator eye safety and export classification; image-intensifier Gen 2/Gen 3 devices are not offered) and children’s products (e.g. CPSIA / CPC, small parts, EN 71) are confirmed per SKU and per order with the supplier and an accredited lab. Never point a telescope, binocular or eyepiece at the Sun without a certified solar filter. Labeling and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.
Frequently asked questions
Can these telescopes be used to look at the Sun?
Never without a certified solar filter that covers the front of the telescope (or finder) completely. Looking at the Sun through any telescope, binocular, eyepiece or finder without one can cause instant, permanent eye damage. We print this warning in manuals and on packaging, and we do not supply eyepiece-mounted solar filters. Where a brand wants to sell solar viewing products, the applicable standard (for example ISO 12312-2 for direct solar viewers, or the relevant standard for front-mounted filters) is confirmed by the buyer with an accredited laboratory per SKU — we make no claim here.
Refractor or reflector for a retail range?
Refractors are low maintenance and simple for beginners and gifts; reflectors give more aperture for the money for hobby buyers. Most ranges carry both.
Do you supply telescopes for schools and museums?
Yes — simple, durable models and kits, packed in sets, with documentation confirmed for the market and age group.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the model (an existing optical design vs. a new housing or optical design), magnification and objective size, prism glass and coatings, armor color, logo method, packaging and the documentation your market needs; lead time depends on customization, documentation and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.
Are your products certified or tested?
We do not display certification marks, ratings or test data on this site. Test reports and certification documentation can be provided or arranged per order for your market, as your brand requires: tell us the destination market, sales channel and the standard or document your retailer or marketplace asks for, and the quotation confirms which documentation applies to each SKU and how it is obtained (existing reports for a model, or testing arranged with a third-party laboratory). See the export compliance section of our specs guide or ask on the inquiry form.
